How are you spending the holidays?
Right now you are probably wrapping up work, sitting in traffic, hanging out with family and friends, eating a lot, and wrapping up shopping (maybe all at the same time.) Well how would you like to be on the slopes teaching someone how to ski or snowboard. Imagine cruising the slopes on fresh powder, the wind slipping past your face under the blue sky. Maybe the faint sound of holiday tunes is echoing from the lodge. Then when the sun goes down you'll party it up with your buddies from the ski school or visiting friends and relatives, jealous they have to go home in a few days.
That's what this year's trainees are up to right now.
Our Intensive Training program just wrapped up with exams and now this year's group of instructors are certified to teach. It was a great session and we kept our streak of a 98% pass rate alive. The busy holiday season is just the start of an amazing winter!
Happy Holidays!

Tahoe Off to a Rockin' Start
A week into the Instructor Training and Internship program at Lake Tahoe and things are off to a rocking start. The program kicked off with three fun days in San Francisco under bright sunshine then everyone headed up to Tahoe. On the shores of the bluest lake in America we were met with the best early season snow cover since 1994 and the stuff keeps coming. In the last 24 hours 3 feet and counting has fallen. Soon we'll need a snow snorkel just to get out the door.
With all that snow it was time to get down to business. At North Star training kicked off right away with an orientation to the resort then a free day to ski the mountain. After that it was straight into the intensive level one course on North Star's new state of the art training slopes. It's going to be an amazing season in Tahoe.
